There are over 200 dogs and 20 cats at the shelter!
Sisters Grishin and Greta. They were picked up as tiny puppies 8 months ago. Their brother died of parvovirus , sisters survived. Lovely, gentle, healthy girls. Vaccinated and spayed . They are ordinary and their story won't surprise anyone - abandoned puppies living in a shelter. Available for sponsorship and adoption.
The sad-looking boy above is Remus. He is described as an "amazing dog" - very affectionate, obedient, gentle and playful. He found himself in the Shelter at 6 months of age when his beloved owner died from a stroke. Remus is not coping well with Shelter life, is scared of many of the other dogs and begs for attention. Could you make this pup's dreams come true? Available for sponsorship and adoption.
This striking-looking dog is Finbarr. What an amazing coat! There is definitely some husky in him. Why does he look so sad? Well, he is suffering from fear-aggression and there are no dog behaviourists in Moldova to help him overcome his fears. The Shelter staff are very busy and have no time to work with him. If the Shelter gets too full he is likely to be spending Winter on the streets. Please don't let this happen to him! Available for sponsorship and adoption.

These three have been waiting a long time for someone to notice them, our lovely Simba, Natashka and Vladik. Available for sponsorship and adoption.
The pretty girl on the left is Sasha. She used to live near a car park, where the customers were all fond of her and used to feed her. Then, one night, an inattentive driver ran little Sasha over. She survived the accident, but was left permanently paralysed in her rear legs. She can drag herself around but the Shelter is hoping to raise funds for a trolley so she can have proper 'walkies' again. Would you like to take this plucky survivor for a walk every day? Available for sponsorship and adoption.
We think friendly boy Ranger here could be a pure-bred Transylvanian hound. What do you think? The breed is virtually unknown outside Eastern Europe, but Transylvanian hounds are protective, loyal, intelligent, brave and inquisitive. The breed also has few health issues, although these hounds do require a good walk every day or their inquisitiveness will turn to mischief! Ranger can already "give paw" and would love to learn new tricks. Would you like to own a 'rare' breed? Available for sponsorship and adoption.

This lovely little lady is Hope. She is 4 years old, housetrained, quiet and a little shy. And when we call her a 'lady' we mean it - her manners are impeccable. When she first arrived at the Shelter, she had to be fed separately, as she was so polite she would always let the other dogs eat first - and they didn't leave her anything. Hope is dog- and child-friendly. Available for adoption.
We love big mutts and we cannot lie! These two gentle giants are Jack (on the left) and Blacky (on the right). Both these Great Dane-crosses are approximately one year old and very regal. They are both very easy-going - like typical Danes - and intelligent. Blacky (female) especially adores children and the Shelter thinks Jack (male) would make a really good guard dog. Available for sponsorship and adoption.
